This how-to covers how to set up a custom route that redirects to another page on the website. This would come in handy if a client uses print marketing and needs a cleaner URL to use for this certain page.
Step 1. Copy the domain you want the page to actually land on. Example: http://vigeohealthfitness.com/blog/87063/Courses
Step 2. In the CRM, go to Admin --> Custom Route
Step 3. Select New Custom Route
Step 4. Enter the route you want (example: courses will be vigeohealthfitness.com/courses)
Step 5. In that same screen, put in the below code, adding in your URL from step 1
<html><head><meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL='YOUR URL GOES HERE'" /></head></html>
Step 6. Hit Save and message Keith or Amir to reset this website and let them know the custom route that you set up.
Note: The route will not populate until the dev team resets the site, and they may wait a few hours for traffic patterns to go down. Always tell the client to allow 24 hours for the custom route to work.
